Your Consultation
Consultation fees with A/Prof Mark Magnusson range from $190 to $450, and you will require a GP referral PRIOR to booking your appointment. A deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.
Your initial consultation is an important step in planning surgery, and we request that these be made for an in person consultation at either our Toowoomba or Gold Coast locations. Subsequent consultations for the same procedure can be organised via video link if you live outside of these locations.
In the majority of cases, a second consultation will be required to finalise your surgery plan, particularly if you are considering cosmetic surgery. Subsequent consultations to discuss the same surgery are charged at a reduced rate.
Prior to your consultation with A/Prof Magnusson, you will be booked to see our Clinical Nurse for pre-admission. This appointment can be scheduled for the same day that you see A/Prof Magnusson. During this appointment, our Clinical Nurse will discuss your motivations for surgery, take a complete medical history, measure your height and record your weight and will also take clinical photos of the areas that you are wanting to have treated in preparation for your appointment with A/Prof Magnusson.
What to bring to your initial consultation:
- GP referral
- Medicare card and private health fund information including your level of cover
- Any copies of test results including pathology, ultrasound and MRI results for breast implant revision, Breast Implant Illness and abdominoplasty
- Your previous implant details for breast implant revision
Appointment cancellation
We require minimum 48 hours notice (2 business days) if you wish to cancel your appointment and request a refund of your deposit. We may decline to refund your deposit if we receive less than the minimum notice required, as we may not be able to offer this appointment to another patient within that timeframe.
If you do not arrive for your scheduled consultation you will forfeit your deposit.
